Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide IT protection to Small Businesses who feel they cannot afford it. So many small businesses are exploited every day due to simply not understanding where their business is exposed. Thwart works with you or your IT team to simply check the basics of Data Security and make sure that there are no obvious vulnerabilities or exposures. This provides small business owners with a piece of mind, documentation needed for PCI or HIPAA compliance, and lower cyber security insurance premiums.
Do you have your Annual Pen Test for you HIPAA Audit?
Starting in January of 2025, HIPAA Regulation state that covered entities must perform a Penetration Test annually, and Vulnerability scans twice per year. Most private practices have never had either of these preemptive measures applied which is why they are such interesting targets to malware actors.

Though Penetration Tests and Vulnerability scans sound scary and daunting, they are really just ways of making sure your IT infrastructure comply with best practices. We gather the details of what your Threat Surface may be, and we test to see if there are any openings or obvious ways your network could be exploited. We test how the bad guys would get in, to make sure you can close those doors
We will provide you with an executive summary of the findings so that you as a business owner will know if you are protected, as well as a detailed technical description so that your IT team can take any required corrective actions. This will also be proof of compliance that you have fulfilled your HIPAA responsibilities.
